Independent evaluation that satisfies the donor and informs the next strategy.
Evaluation done by the team that did the work is not evaluation — it is reporting. We provide independent third-party evaluation under OECD-DAC, with the methodological discipline funders expect.

What this service builds
Independent project evaluation. OECD-DAC framework — relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, sustainability. Designed for donor reporting and strategic learning.
Mid-term reviews. Half-engagement evaluation with course-correction recommendations. Most funders expect them; few are run well.
Organisational capacity assessment (PSOR). The three-circles method — participatory self-assessment under our facilitation. Produces a baseline, a development roadmap, and the credibility donors look for in pre-engagement diligence.
Impact measurement. Theory of Change architecture, IRIS+ for impact-investable enterprises, monitoring systems credible to investors and donors over the long term.
ESG audit and assurance preparation. Independent third-party review of ESG positioning, gap analysis against GRI/SASB/CSRD requirements, audit-readiness assessment.
Research. Desk research, market analysis, stakeholder needs assessment, sectoral diagnostics. Quantitative and qualitative.
How an evaluation engagement runs
Evaluation engagements are delivered in full-outsource model only. Independence is non-negotiable; the evaluator cannot also be the implementer.
Co-define evaluation criteria, scope, methods, data access, stakeholders, deliverables.
Documentary review, key informant interviews, focus groups, observation, surveys.
Triangulation, contribution analysis, theory-of-change reconstruction.
Findings, conclusions, recommendations — with supporting evidence in annexes.
Findings session with the client team and, where appropriate, the donor.
Standards and methods
OECD-DAC six criteria · PSOR (three-circles method) · IRIS+ · Theory of Change · Most Significant Change · Outcome Harvesting · Contribution Analysis.
